It all started in 2015 when we met as high school seniors, a time that seemed like an unlikely moment for a relationship to blossom. Matthew was being recruited for Division 1 football, and Megan had her sights set on following in her family’s footsteps by attending The University of Tennessee. But fate had other plans—Matthew received a scholarship to play football at Tennessee Tech University, and Megan decided to follow him there.

From graduating high school together to starting college side by side, we began building the foundation for a lifetime of memories.

As time went on, life led us to different paths, with Matthew in Atlanta and Megan in Knoxville, TN. We navigated long distance for several years, until 2020—thank you, COVID!—when we finally moved back to the same city. We celebrated each other’s accomplishments as we graduated college, started our first jobs, and both pursued our dreams, including dental school.

Then, a new chapter began in Augusta, GA, where we moved to start fresh in a city we had never called home, but now, it’s where we truly started our new life—together. Today, we’re loving this next adventure, with our puppy Theodore, and cherishing every moment of this beautiful chapter.

Our journey has been filled with love, growth, and unforgettable memories, and we can’t wait to see where the next chapter takes us.
